Day 2 of the 30 Day Challenge - Cherries 05
Cherries ... again? Who would have thought I would go back to the cherries during the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge? There is just something about cherries that I love to paint.
Some would say it's because they're easy, but they really aren't when you look at it. There is still getting the colors right. There is still moving from light to dark and doing it properly. There is still dimension and perspective to deal with.
I wouldn't be surprised if I do at least a couple more cherry paintings before this challenge is over. By then, maybe I'll be starting to get to the bottom of painting the humble cherry.
