Just a quickie today. Didn't have time for anything else, so I did this one in about an hour. Trying to learn to use more paint, paint in bigger, bolder strokes and not touch the paint more than once after a stroke is laid down. I'm getting there.

I like this one Dave. I think painting with a limited time is not always a bad thing. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy. I just wish I could see things at the time I'm painting instead of the next day. Things like how that tree looks like a giant popsicle, growing straight up on the sides instead of having branches that, well, branch out. There are very few trees that grow that way and this is certainly not a cypress tree. I think my painting today is going to just focus on the shape of a tree.
