Day 27 of the 30 Day Challenge - Morning on the Marsh

Another marsh painting and I like the way the grass seems to be coming together for me. I did this one on a linen panel and used my red sable brushes for the entire painting. When I use my bristle brushes on canvas I seem to be able to get the grassy look, but when I use the setup I did today, I get this soft blending of grasses as they go off into the distance.

I tried to put an egret in flight in this one, but never could get it to where I was happy with it, so I scraped it out. I'll try again in the next day or so.

Wow! Just three to go. Should feel good at the end.
